May's Beauty Favourites
Bonjour, it's already time for my May's favourites. Some old, some new ... but all loved.
BEAUTYCOUNTER LENGTHENING MASCARA
This mascara received an Allure 2016 best of beauty award and I can understand why. I like that Beauty Counter not only makes safer make up / skincare but they actually work. I usually apply two coats and I'm good to go. It's also my go-to mascara for my lower lashes: somehow, it is able to just grab them and give them life. I find it a little hard to remove with only my micelle solution. However, a cleansing oil will do the job. It's my secret to gently and efficiently remove every last bit of make up.
DIORSKIN STAR CONCEALER
An amazing concealer for me ( I use the shade 005 ). I don't wear foundation on a regular basis, but I do like to cover up some imperfections, discolouration with this concealer. Whenever I need to brighten up my tired under eyes, I reach for it. I'm getting into more make up so I'm hopefully going to share more of it with you guys. Did you know I had a Youtube channel. MORPHE M439 FOUNDATION BRUSH
We all know how good foundation brushes can cost! I've been using this deluxe buffer from Morphe for 2 years now and i don't know why I have not shared this goodness with you. It is super soft, blends foundation like a charm and surprise, it costs a whooping price of 14$. Morphe brushes have been reviewed by the most popular beauty Youtubers and they always get such amazing reviews. I'm in love with my M439 and really urge you to try out Morphe brushes, starting by this one.
ESTHEDERM CELLULAR WATER FONDANT CREAM
Guys, I have over used this fondant cream! I think I have 1/4 left and I seriously feel like crying. With the warm weather upon us, I needed something that would hydrate my thirsty skin without making me sweat like crazy. This stuff is so good. I use it right after the shower and it immediately plumps and hydrate my whole body. Also, one of my tips is that I never fully dry my skin after the shower. Water is the number hydration source: I apply this fondant cream on my lightly wet skin and it's great. Esthederm Paris is really coming through for me lately, as I also use their absolute firming-contouring body care.
CHARBON NOIR COSMETICS BLACK HEAD REMOVAL MASK
This charcoal peel off mask is amazing. I use it once a week and it clears out and purifies my skin so well. One thing I love is that it does not hurt when removing the mask. I've watched a few hilarious/ horror videos of people taking off their masks and I can assure you, you won't go through that kind of pain. If you have sensitive skin, I would recommend trying this ( or any product actually ) on a small area first, just to make sure. The mask is made of natural ingredients and is very gentle on the skin. I actually have their charcoal kit and love it. I will give you more feedback regarding the charcoal teeth whitening powder.
