Favourites and a trouvaille Petite and Bold

Bonjour darlings;

One last “favourites” post before Christmas. I hope you guys are all set for your gifts and that you did not break the bank for it ;) So, on today’s list a few skincare favourites, a book + one underwear brand I’ve recently discovered and dying to try. Let’s start!

Approximately 2 months ago, I was invited to an event to discover the new Druide x France D’Amour line of organic skincare products: France D’Amour Bio Love! Organic sounds like music to my ears! I feel like it’s so important to pay attention to the ingredients we apply on our skin. I’ve been using the eye contour serum every morning and I absolutely love it! It’s lightweight yet very hydrating; and made with ingredients like Vitamin C, aloe vera, hyaluronic acid,, Vitamin E ( all the good stuff). Since it’s made out of natural ingredients, the scent is very subtle.

I also use the face cream probably three times a week, it’s perfect for the cold weather because once again, it’s very moisturing and does make my skin oily. Two products I think you should definitely try ;)

You must have seen this delectable sugar cookie exfoliator in my Instagram stories! I’ve been hooked to it since it was sent to me from Boutique Skin Envie. I exfoliate my skin once or twice a week; it is an essential step in my skincare routine. It helps me get rid of dead skin and clear my skin. Bonus: the perfect texture ( not too harsh, not too soft ) and the amazing scent.

Knixwear is a recent trouvaille this month and a coup de coeur. I love the body positivity message the brand conveys. Every woman, regardless of her shape and skin colour would feel included and represented. Knixwear showcases real women with imperfectly perfect bodies.  Their underwear is made with innovative fabrics which are moisture-wicking, odor-killing and leakproof. I am quite picky when it comes to my underwear, especially bras. Comfort and support are the key words for me. Their bras seem to be extremely comfortable, as they have no underwire. On top of the anti-odor,  moisture-wicking and quick dry characteristics, the bras are also reversible ( say what!! ). I think the one piece I really want to try is the padded 8 in 1 evolution bra.

Knixwear has donated over 5000 pairs of Knixwear to women’s shelters throughout Canada and the USA, another reason to love this brand: a company that gives back to the community. Have you heard of Knixwear before?! Let me know!

I’m a huge fan of Rupi Kaur’s poems. I have her previous book, Milk and Honey, and this one: The Sun and her Flowers, oh darling! You need it. Her words are relatable and poignant. I love how empowering and uplifting she is. She makes you dig deep in your own emotions, experiences. You can grow from them. Get her books, you won’t regret it.

As always, thank you for reading!
