TRIED & LOVED - Episode 1

Hi friends! So I’m starting this new series to share some skincare products I’ve tried and loved. I’ll feature 5-7 products in each “episode'“ and will take the time to explain why I’ve loved using them. I’ll also try to link to all of them when possible. So let’s get started with Episode 1.

  1. Reversa Collagenique Cream

    As you get older, your skin’s natural collagen decreases and it is important that you support the loss with your skincare. The Reversa Collagenique cream was a real treat for me. The texture is silky smooth, it is quickly absorbed by the skin resulting in a more plumpled and firm skin within days. It is composed of 98% ingredients from natural origin and is 100% vegan. Some of the hero ingredients being Peptides, Hyaluronic Acid and Goji Stem Cell Extract.

2. Nuxe Bio Fruit Stone Powder Mask

If you watch my skincare reviews on my IG stories, you must have seen this mask. Nuxe has recently launched a new line Nuxe Bio featuring 7 products that are 100% vegan, certified organic and powered with active ingredients. Here are a few things I love about Nuxe Bio Micro-Exfoliating Cleansing Mask:

  • it does both physical ( Apricot Kernel Powder ) and chemical exfoliation ( Salicylic Acid );

  • the particles have a small and even size on top of not being harsh;

  • the subtle smell and texture. The application was very pleasant and I’ve been using it once a week since I’ve got it.

    3. Lanolips Lip Balm

It is getting colder outside and keeping my lips hydrated is a must. I don’t think I need to introduce you to Lanolips, their lip balm has been voted “World’s Best Lip Balm”. They recently launched the Lanostick Minty, with a cooling twist to their original, but with all the goodies. The hero ingredient remains the same: Lanolin. The molecular structure of lanolin mimics human oils, which is why it keeps your lips moisturized for a while.

4. Skinceuticals Glycolic Brightening Renew Overnight

Skinceuticals is one brand that needs no introduction. For years, they have been delivering performing skincare people rave about. I know, I know … the prices are definitely on the pricier side but hey, they work. The glycolic brightening renew overnight is a night treatment which helps with cellular turnover.

When trying out this treatment, I applied it as the last step in my skincare routine at night ( once or twice max a week ). The following morning, my skin always felt hydrated and smooth. I could tell the texture was different from the night before. If your skin feels dull and uneven, this is definitely something that will help a lot.

5. Clarins Total Eye Lift

I was very happy to have partnered with Claris a few ago to share my review about one of their newest product especially formulated the eyes. I am just going to link my Instagram post HERE so that you can read all about why I have loved the Total Eye Lift so much!

6. Laneige Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer

As you can see, I’m almost down to the half of the bottle. This Laneige Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer keeps your skin hydrated. I love when a toner does not dry out my skin and Laneige delivered with this number for sure. The key ingredient is White Leaf Tea Water which is rich in amino acids to strengthen the skin barrier, moisturize, and soothe.

7. L’Occitane Immortelle Divine Crème

L'occitane en provence immortelle divine crème

L’Occitane is hands down one of my favourite French skincare brands. I’ve been using their products for years, from hand creams to body butters, name it. The Immortelle Divine Crème has been one of their best sellers and this new improved formula contains 30% higher concentration of immortelle to target and help fight the 5 main visible signs of aging. L’Occitane has patented the Immortelle Super Extract, which a naturally-derived alternative to retinol. The cream is smooth and so fun to apply: it’s fresh and gives you an instant plumped skin.

That’s it for me guys! If you’ve gone through the whole post, well thank you! Looking forward to sharing more skincare favourites in coming months. Bisous xx
