MY FAVORITE SUNSCREEN FOR FACE | APPROVED FOR DARK SKIN

I literally cringe when I think that 2 years ago I did not care much about protecting my face with a sunscreen especially in the summer time. I am huge fan of excellent skincare — it is the foundation of healthy and radiant skin — and I always get compliments on how soft my skin is ... which is incredibly flattering. One thing you should not neglect is the use of a face sunscreen to prevent so many concerns. For women of colour, this is even more important to help with uneven complexion, hyperpigmentation, blemishes, and dark spots. Now, finding the perfect face sunscreen for women of colour can be an overwhelming task: no one wants those products which leave a grey tint, it's the worst. So I present to you the sunscreen I've been using for a few days. To say I'm obsessed is an understatement. I haven't tried a huge number of sunscreens but this one is the best so far, in my opinion perfect for chocolate skin as well as lighter skin.

COVER FX CLEAR COVER INVISIBLE SUNSCREEN BROAD SPECTRUM SPF 30

The Cover FX

Clear Cover Invisible Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30

applies completely clear. I personally use it before heading out over my regular daily face serum and cream and before doing my make up on the days I need to. Keep it on your bad to reapply when necessary. It is see-through and the formula melts onto skin. No white or gray traces left behind. This sunscreen is clinically tested; parablen, fragrance, gluten, mineral oil and talc free on top of being vegan. This works great as a primer as well. I feel like it's the perfect sunscreen for dark skins.

I have linked to the exact product below, as well as some best sellers on Sephora.

Do you have any recommendation for face sunscreens suited to your skin type, have you used the Cover Fx sunscreen? Let me know in the comments.
